CDBA Event - 1st December 2009
The next CDBA event on Tuesday 1st December 2009, 6pm – 8pm, at Haywired, Speaker is Will Reid from PARC, the event topic is updates town centre master plan.
CDBA Tuesday 24th April 2007, Hays Business Centre Sponsors Lloyds TSB
The CDBA open meeting was held on Tuesday 24th April 2007 @ the hays Business Centre and was sponsored by Lloyds TSB.
The meeting commenced with a presentation from Colin Smith Senior Manager of Lloyds TSB he gave a very interesting presentation on general business banking, the types of account available and offered in some cases free banking for new business.
John Quinn from PARC also gave an update on the regeneration of Craigmillar, particularly the proposed site for the hearts club and information on the new school.
Both presenters answered many searching and direct questions form the association members with great skill and openness for which the members were extremely grateful.
Catering was supplied by Michelle McLoughlin - Healthier Options - a Craigmillar Business Incubator client. Michelle approached the CBIP with an idea for starting a business which promotes healthy eating options. Michelle's business ideas stemmed from her work with children and being made aware the poor eating habits in both adults and children through lack of knowledge.
Michelle plans to promote healthy options to all age groups through schools and local projects or one to one basis. The food Michelle supplied was very well received and if you require any information on booking Michelle for any events please contact her on 07957725116.
